I'm not sure what these flowers are, but I found them high on a hill(no, I didn't climb it!) So I put on the zoom lens and got close up that way. I just loved the way they were reaching up into the sky.

The 'Loocys' are so pretty - here in NZ they have been declared an 'unwanted organism' and infestations are destroyed.It is semi-aquatic and grows in wetlands destroying fish and bird habitats. It is banned from sale although used to be a popular garden plant.
