Taken a few years ago. I believe my old camera was my new camera at the time and I had to go break it in down by the pond. It was a nice Christmas present.

I want to reach out and touch that beautiful iridescent color on not only his head, but the breast and the wings as well. The clarity here is astounding and I can't get over the texture you've brought out on this lil one. I love the way the green on the head turns into a rich emerald color as you go along to the back of the bird's head..It doesn't seem possible that something so mundane as a duck could have such richness and texture...great art is hidden here..thanks :)PJ

You old camera clearly had a good lens. The definition on your photo here is powerful. One can really sense the texture of the feathers. The sheen of the emerald head feathers is tops to. A glossy and well taken photo. Good work!

It's better to have a living dog, than a dead lion.
