It's Very beautiful!
Don't let lack of comments get to you....coz it's just one of those things..maybe people busy....or in a hurry. It's highly likeable...and artistic and I am sure many will download and like it a lot.
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
Ahhh...well, you know we're a bunch of blabbermouths over here, so whenever you have an upload that gets lonely, you know how to give it directions here..lol..I can't imagine ignoring this beauty...high marks from me in the voting booth, Rob.
rob, i don't see how on earth they could ignore this photo. it is the most beautiful flower i have ever seen. your treatment of each flower seems to give both a face on and side view of it. i really like that it has the black background and the light seems to come from everywhere. i especially like the light playing on the flower on the right. it goes into my favorites.
very beautiful, perfect lighting, but I would have taken another background (maybe that is the reason why it has bin ignored) because the flower is being drowned in the dark colour and that is a pitty
I agree with twinkel that its a bit dark, however, i like that shot, and the flower is beautiful! and 7 comments already! just goes to show that this is the best site! :-) grin
Saw this in the VB and as stated by others, it immediately gets your attention.
It might be a tad bit dark but then again I love the photo as it sits. Highest grade!
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
Edward Weston
Blossoms are exquisite, and skillfully photographed. It's the background that is all wrong. Delicate, sweet flowers against black. Something pastel would be better, even if it were (ugh!) gray.

Love the stark contrasts in this and the simple composition and bold colours.
