that is a very pretty path, i hope you had fun with the kids at the river i can imagine them skipping down here. :-)

I really love the subject of the photo. I have gone on hikes many times myself and seen spots in the woods just like this that make me want to kick myself for forgetting my camera! I do think that there are some color balance issues in this picture, though. The dirt path in front of you looks purple, for example. It must have been a very sunny day because the whole picture is just a little washed-out. Try playing around with the color balance in a photo editing program. Otherwise, good shot! : )
