Nice perspective in this image. Really nice first post! I like all the different colors and the angle you took this from. Looks like a nice place to visit. Nice job and Welcome to Caedes! -Sarah

The last vacation I've ever taken, which was too long ago, btw, took me through the UP and I've never been the same since!!! It was SOO green and lush and beautiful, that it was almost too miuch to take in in one pass, so I'm hoping that my next vacation, whenever that wonderful day comes, will be somewhere near the same experience. Since you've labeled this "Moody Drive" I have to assume that either you or your camera were in a particular funk that day, or like me, all that heavy green was influencing the mood of the day. In a strange way, when I first saw this pic, I understood what you were trying to convey...or at least I had my own take on it and the way the highway leads off to we know not where while we are still in the photo is indeed also as moody and mysterious as the rest of the presentation. As a form of art, I like this very much. As a realistic form of presentment of the actual scene, I'm not so sure. Most ppl would be far more pleased with a little less heavy handed saturation for aesthetic's sake alone, nevermind the question of clarity. Unfortunately this technique also interferes with the depth of field quandry, so the jury's out on this one..and I'm in the middle...and, yes, welcome to Caedes :)PJ More Info

I'm with you here on the Moody Drive part tis a bit dark I really wish the trees were more clear and a bit brighter would help. I am happy with the effort you have made concerning all the resolution sizes this is perfect for a new Caedes start as I myself have been at fault in this aspect. The best thing in your new opportunity is to learn from your mistakes and the mistakes others make help you in how to correct your own....lol I made a goof I posted the same pic twice ughghg so I fix it and move on....brighter would be the key here for this capture...but a thumbs up on the title and this darkened road its certainly a Moody Drive....
