Hi Elizabeth...you found a great variety of pebbles to photograph, or are they sea shells? Never having been to Los Cabos, I need to ask :=)

This image might be improved if there were a focal point in it...a larger rock, a sea shell...as a viewer, my eyes tend to wander on this image and I must concentrate fully in order to really 'see' all the small pebbles.

For some, this would make a simple desktop with no muss, no fuss!

Thanks for sharing this with us!

A good macro of sand. Very nicely done. Could make a good background. If you had a seashell in the upper right hand corner, or other "sandy" objects somewhere in the picture, it might add a bit more to it, but it's still very nicely done.

Elizabeth - I like the wet look of these small stones. As Mimi notes, a focal point would enhance the photo. Thad

I concur with luckyshot and mimi - though it is an excellent macro shot it lacks a point of focus - or to put it another way - a subject to create a purpose or reason for the image. It is too focused and detailed to be abstract so it needs a bit of tension, a story or a compelling subject.
