I hate it when people say that! I've been trying to work it out for the past ten minutes! I originally thought it was a gun, or at least part of one - but I don't think you'd have one just lying around on your drive really!! The neighbours might not be very talkative to you! I give up - please tell me! Anyway, an intersting shot, with good focus and composition - the fact it's upside-down makes it harder to work out I think!

"Yard" is out...in my opinion. "Driveway" is where the shot was taken. It's a macro shot, therefore...it's small.

Last guess....A Bike Chain, master link.
