Thank you for the very nice compliment on "Smith Falls." I find waterfalls difficult to shoot due to all the high contrast areas, different water flow speeds, and compromises needed due to the different brightness levels of white water, sky and dark shores. It's rare for a shot to come out this well without extensive "lab" work to fix all those problems. This one is "natural." So I really appreciate your comment. Thank you. Steve

Hay House 2 is a manipulation and shot at this angle because of the grounds keeper working on both sides. It was an overcast day with the sun behind the house. When I adjusted the exposure for the shadow side, the sky got washed out. I took a photo of the sky about an hour later and merged the two images. Thanks for viewing and commenting on this image.
