Hi Bethany, and thanks for your thoughtful comments on "Light + Water = Life" and "Thanks Darryl". I did wonder after I uploaded whether anyone might suggest getting rid of that stem, but the idea of a long exposure on the other one never occurred to me. Hey babe! It's good to see that you're finding time for us at Caedes. I miss you around here. Are you emerging from your long winter? Are you enjoying your freshman year? I know you must be exceedingly busy right now with mid-term exams approaching and so many new things in your life not to mention your photography.

I saw your comment about "Just Another Day", and I know what you mean about the dock. Sadly it was too big to clone out. About the frame, though if you look at the trees they're all parallel with the frame - what's not plumb is the horizon, and that's the curvature of the earth. I tried rotating the image, but the tees weren't straight. Hmmm... I've been getting up early to get some sunrise shots, and I've gotten a few that are better than this one, but I think I'm going to wait until I get a really good one like "In Terms of Light" before I put another sunrise shot up. Enjoy yourself.

Thanks for your comments on "Morrab Gardens 2", Bethany. I didn't specifically ask for critique, [edit: actually, looking at my earlier comment I probably did, didn't I!] but I'm always very grateful for feedback, especially when it's as thoughtful as yours. If I was doing this one again I'd certainly get rid of the red blob - I hardly noticed it at first, but it definitely draws the eye now! Also, thanks for stopping by the lighetend version of "Exposure". When I boost the contrast, it whites-out the curtains and darkens the subject. I like the original more as well. I can't tell if it is because some people have darker monitors or if they simply want to see more, but several suggested I lighten it.

I'm a photographer myself and I really like your photo "wide eyed" and i was wondering if you could give me any possible tips or how-to on how to make eyes look like that. i may have a basic idea but i would be very thankful if you could assist. my email is music_box_08@yahoo.com. thank you!

I really dig your style! Very interesting works in your gallery. All the self portraits are well done....I know how you feel about getting people to pose for you....LOL....my wife and daughters are just about sick of being in front of the camera....You've inspired me to try some sort of self portrait now....although I'm sure the Caedes community would prefer to look at a pretty young lady any day over me....LOL

Hi Bethany

Thank you for your thoughful comments on Okra Bean and Lamb. It is all taken on board and will be used. I have still alot to learn about food photography. I have found out that it will take alot of time as I have around 20-30 recipes to photopgraph. Your time is most appreciated and I thank for your kindness and interest.

Hi Bethany, Thanks so very much for your visit and in depth critique/suggestions on Butterfly Dreams of Being Free ! You've certainly given me things to think about, and I will keep them in mind towards future creations. Not sure if I will actually modify this one, as it was a combined effort. It's not often I receive such comments, so I really appreciate your time in providing me with your thoughtful and thorough analysis.

Best wishes for a great weekend! :)
