Thank you for such a nice comment about my Beach Grass photo. I appreciate that a lot. I love the variety of grasses near the Ocean and also all the other fun things a person can see when walking near the water. Where at the Gulf do you live? I lived for 14 yrs in Louisiana...first a few years in Marksville, and then in Shreveport//Bossier City. I also visited New Orleans long ago. I went to Fort Walton Beach in Fla one year too. There is nothing that compares to the delicious seafood that comes from theGulf..I miss that a lot..Thanx again for enjoying my photo. When you get time, take a look at my Gallery...Verena

Jekyll Island Beach Nightlife was taken in the darkness. I had to use a flashlight on him so my camera would focus. Actually I did a little high stepping dance until I got him to stop for a minute. I was surprised that he stayed long enough to get several photo before he ran off into the surf. I don't know if the're good to eat. Thanks MBi for the nice comments on this image.
