Hi Rose, to get an icon by your name you have to have a 60px by 60px image ready to go on your computer, and you can upload it by clicking "Edit Profile" (under the heading "Control Panel" on the left of the page). The icon upload is about half-way down the page, and you just browse to your image then click upload. If you have a pic that you like, but it's too big, you can resize it in a program like Adobe Photoshop (or any image editing software really).
