Hi Random, and thanks for your comment on Dunes at Dawn 1. I'm from Ohio myself, so I know what you mean about hills and more hills with trees and more trees. As far as I'm concerned, it is all God's country, but you sure can see a lot more of it at once out west!

Read you comments on another one of my Dunes at Dawn shots. You're right that most people outside the West have never heard of Great Sand Dunes, but I think it is becoming pretty popular in Colorado. I was there in mid April and the campground began to fill up on Thursday and was almost completely full all weekend.
