You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Barry, thanx for your kind words about Bird in Profile. It is an amazing structure and Milwaukee was very lucky to get Santiago Calatrava to design it.

Hi Barry, you got a good idea about the b&W lighthouse and just leaving the red lens, but I don't know how to do that..I have never been able to figure that out. I have a hard time with my Photoshop and Paint SHop when it comes to some of that..maybe one day I'll get it thru my 'blonde' head eh? but thankies for your idea...I like it..verena
As far as the TIllamook cheese, it is a famous cheese, much like the Wisconsin Cheeses...Tillamook is a small town on the ORegon Coast..it makes wonderful cheese and ice cream. Yummmmmm!! Thanx for your comments my friend, I always enjoy them....Verena

Hi Barry! :) Once in a great while we have clear skies in the evening, usually fog sets in quickly in these hills and valleys. But I steadied my arm on the top of my COugar..and yes, I was stopped..heehee...and took a shot, so it was fun, and I sat around in the car, where it was warm..lol...and watched the moon go from bright to dark...so at least I have a memory shot..V

LOL! We haven't seen much of the sun lately either. I chased this sunset for about 15 minutes, but kept ending up with light poles and buildings in the way. Finally out of desperation I left my car parked illegally on the side of the road and climbed an 8 foot snowbank to click off a few quick shots.

Hello Barry...the dark area at the bottom of the Pink DOgwood blossoms is the way it was. All dark under that part of the tree, I did nothing to it, but I guess I could have changed it. Maybe done a bit of cloning somehow. THanx for your comment. I always appreciate hearing from you. It made me think..Verena
Hello Barry..thank you for enjoying my tulips photo. They are so pretty right now, wish they were around longer. That morning we had a soft misty rain for a while, and so that made the flowers all glow with wetness. I love that. I've been very ill, and am still not over it, but am trying to slowly heal. That's why I did the painting I posted too , its very soothing and healing . Thank you again my friend. Verena
Hi Barry, I kinda agree with the darkness on "Hidden Treasure". I tried to lighten it a bit, but then I didn't like the way the water looked, so I left it as is.
