Hi and thanks for the flattering comment on (Dockside). The picture was taken from the dock behind my grandparents' house in Lantana, Florida. It is looking out across the intracoastal waterway, which runs north and south just inland of Florida's Atlantic coast. If you're interested, some of my other pictures were taken from the same property. Those that are still in my gallery today include:

(Backyard Paradise)
(Join Me?)
(Evening Glow)
(Evening Passage)
(Nightfall)

Thanks again for the comment.

Thank you kindly for your comment on "Storm Cell" I used a canon digital rebel with the OEM lense the 18-55mm.. I was at 18mm at the time.. which when u calculate in the 1.5x factor on the camera sensor it makes it a view of roughly 27mm :) I also used a quantaray circular polarizer filter. :)

Deep;
Thank you for visiting my, Monument Valley Revisited image. I have stood at this spot each year for the past 14 years. Each time I am filled with the grandeur of this place. This is a feeling that I hope I never tire of. Each time that I look at what is spread before me I wonder how many have stood here through all of the years and were they struck by this beauty as we are today?

Thanx for your nice comments on "kiss." I thought it was just too sweet. It was just one of those pictures that just sort's happened! I sat them under a window to take some portrait type pictures and all of the sudden the older child planted a kiss on her younger sister. Thankfully I had the camera ready. :-)

Anyway, thanx again for your comment! :-) Much apprishiated! :-)

Thank you Deep for your comments on "Sunrise - Mt. Hood" I really am pleased you like it.

Light is that magical phenomenon that allows us to enjoy the sights of the physical world. That property grants me the ability to interpret and record the beauties of which are so vital to me: my physical environment. Each of us sees and interprets the world a little differently and I am happy to share my interpretive vision of it with you.

Thanks Deep. It's a 100-400 mm zoom at 400, but you need to multiply that by 1.6 as the sensor is 24mm across, rather than 36mm, so the effective focal length is 6400mm.

And many thanks for the comments on Evening Sku and Gull.
