Hi Elise. Thanks for the comments on South Winds. I actually was trying to include the trees & buds in the picture. That was intentional. I already have another capture of this, (see "End of the Trail" in my gallery or the permanent gallery), at a different angle with nothing else in it & wanted to try something different. You were right on the cutting off the top..wish I had panned out a bit more. Thanks again.
Slowly, silently, now the moon
Walks the night in her silver shoon;
This way, and that, she peers, and sees
Silver fruit upon silver trees;
One by one the casements catch
Her beams beneath the silvery thatch;
Couched in his kennel, like a log,
With paws of silver sleeps the dog;
From their shadowy cote the white breast peep
Of doves in silver-feathered sleep;
A harvest mouse goes scampering by,
With silver claws and a silver eye;
And moveless fish in the water gleam,
By silver reeds in a silver stream.

Elise: Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Mi Casa." And I agree with you that there is a slight "focus" problem here. Not my best effort - but it gives me a good excuse to get back "out there" next spring :) Gene
