Hello, Welcome to Caedes. I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do.

I just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading your comments about “The Flying Lesson”, thank you.

i do enjoy it indeed! I would like to take photos myself, but have to save up for a nice camera now.... in the meantime, I get inspiration by indulging in the beauty and quality of the photographs here!

Good morning

From me also, a warm welcome to Caedes. Am relatively new myself, and hhave found a wonderful group of people here.

And many thanks for your enjoyment and appreciation of "Beach at Cardwell". The trees have evolved with the salt water environment - I have seen them actually growing in the salt water.

Enjoy your day

Good morning again
And also for your comments on "Unknown purple flower". You have given me a different perspective to the way I look at the image. My thanks and appreciation. This was among the last of those taken while living in Brisbane. One day, I may even find out what it is called :)
Enjoy your day

I must say that it was nice to hear from you. Welcome to Caedes and thank you for your very kind comments. I'm pleased you liked "Top Heavy". I love photographing at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival each spring. This year I missed it due to other commitments. Come back and look any-time you like.

Good morning
I enjoyed your comments on "Babinda Creek 01". Many thanks, and am glad that you enjoyed it. The best part of exploring the Babinda Creek that day was that there were were not many tourists, so had time to take my time without interferring with any one elses pleasure.
Enjoy your day

Good morning
Many thanks for commenting on "Babinda Creek 04". Keep those compliments up, and I'll have to buy a larger size hat before going out again <chuckling>.
For this frame, I was so tempted to climb over the safety barrrier to get a good picture of the big waterfall dropping into the Devils Pool, but too many have died here on the rocks for me to attempt this foolishness - perhaps one day with official support, a small team and secured with good ropes.
Enjoy your day

Thanks very much for your comments on Even the Gulls Were Walking. I had several shots of these birds, but I chose this one because like you, I thought the birds looked rather comical! Mike
