Multnomah Falls Uploaded: 11/21/06 9:35 AM GMT

Image: Multnomah Falls

This is the second highest waterfall in the U.S. at 620 feet and is one of the most visited sites in Oregon. It is a favorite place for taking out-of-town visitors in the magnificant Columbia River Gorge. All comments and suggestions for improvement will be appreciated.

Hi JoAnn, thank you for your support and comment on "First Snow." The picture was not meant to be a succinct replica of reality, but rather an expression of a visionary winter all could relate to. It is real but has a fantasy element. I guess I did not pull it off as well as I had hoped for. Thanks from Ohio ~ John

Hi JoAnn, glad you liked a manipulative moment!! :-) you asked how i did it! mainly i sharpened it (ALOT) because it seemed to make the twigs and branches longer and more spooky, i didnt change the colours that much, but just enhanced them, and also i added a diffuse glow, and then i added a texture layer in photoshop to get that effect in the sky! lol, hope that helps!! glad you liked the pic anyway! It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

JoAnn, para complementar seu comentário na foto "Ceita Corê", tem uma piscina logo ao fundo que é alimentada pelo mesmo rio, e a água estava uma delicia.

JoAnn, to complement its commentary in the photo " Ceita Corê" , it soon has a swimming pool to the deep one that it is fed by the same river, and the water was one delights.

Hi, JoAnn.
It has been a long time since I uploaded anything. I've just been answering critique/comments requests for the last few years.
I see you're still turning out beautiful work.
Thanks for stopping by. Much appreciated, as always.
