Hi Lauren. Thanks for the compliment on "Luminary." Pleased you enjoyed it. It was designed for a 2650x1600 display. Caedes makes me format it for a 1600x1200 display, which leaves a border on the top and bottom. Rather than stretch and distort the image, I chose to leave the border. You have my permission to remove them if you wish. Have a great day.
It's me again, just stopping by to say another thank you. I'm glad you liked "Sea. Rock. Bird." - it's one I overlooked when I took it a few weeks ago, but I was sorting out some pics yesterday for printing and realised this one might make a background too :-)
Good morning Lauren
First, welcome to Caedes. Hope you find this as enjoyable a place of comradeship and friendship that I have found it.
Thank you for your appreciative comments for "Cactus flower at first sun". Am glad that you like it. The photo itself only happened as the result of a combination of luck - that I drove my wife to work in the morning, that I happened to glance in that direction as I went past, and that the road was clear of cars when I did a fast U-turn to get back to it. Even forgot to close the car door <laughing>
Thank you Lauren for you lovely comments on my image. Spring is Near 2 is one of several images I took of the bees hard at work gathering pollen at the first signs of spring. I'm glad that you liked it.

I want to thank you Lauren, for viewing and commenting on Late February, i had been driving for about an hour, when this scene came into view, just had to stop and click a few. Thanks again. Dwight.

Good morning Lauren
Many thanks for your comments on "Lady Beetle on Wild Flowers". Am glad that you enjoy it.
Will be keeping an eye out for this wild flower on future excursions into the bush for photos. I um'd and ar'd about the border on this, but was stuck with it due to the composition of the original photo - am looking forward to the update for Caedes that will allow different sized images without padding them with borders to make a standard sized image. Next time, however, will try and get a pic that can stay "right side up", so to speak.

Lauren,
You are very kind with your words about my Navajo Country. Sunset on the Mittens. SinceI have already uploaded this and many other images I do not think that I would upload it another time with a canvas texture. Sorry. If you would like to see one just send me an E-Mail and I willi send you a copy of one . My e-Mail address is on my profile page.

Many thanks for your comments and appreciation on "Freshwater National Park 1". I have one other successful frame which will be uploaded in the near future. However, there have been enough comments expressing interest in the Grass Trees that a return journey will be made just to photograph these, and if successful one will be added to the sequence.
Enjoy your day

Many thanks for your comments on "Soft pink and white among green" and am glad that you like it. Was very happy this turned out so clear, as it was taken without a tripod and a bit of a breeze blowing.
Enjoy your day

Thanks you for you appreciation of "Six seed pods". It is one of my personal favourites. Was taken at the side of a road where I had stopped for images of a golf course - the golf course images were miserable but this turned out good. As to what type - um, dunno. I think it is one of the pines due to the leaf structure, but the libraries are closed for four days with Easter, so cannot look it up till Tuesday. Will return and let you know then.
hi again... thanks for your comment on Waterfall Original... glad you like it... i have only just started adding things to my flames... from now on what im going to do is post the manipulated one.. and the original.... :D cheers
Good morning Lauren
Many thanks for your comments and appreciation on "Golden Pinda". Am glad that you enjoy the flower. Am unable to say whether the flower has a scent - it was just too far above my head, sadly.
With you in mind, I posted another flower image tonight.
Enjoy your day

Once again, Iดm happy to see you liked the Wooden Star wallpaper. Very encouraging - Iดm very fond of natural fractals and hope to come up with more. Thanks for commenting and for your suggestion, Lauren !
Good morning Lauren
I saw your comment on "White Bottlebrush" today after being away for almost two days. Many thanks, and am glad that you enjoyed it. As I post more you will be able to ad them to your collection as well.
Do not recall ever seeing a white one before, so regardless the sharpness of the midday sunlight had to take a photo. Despite having to darken the image a little (the reflection of light from the leaves gives some idea of the intensity), the near translucence of the flower still shows.
And for information when people see this on your screensaver, you can explain that Bottlebrush is the common name used for the Callistemon, and the flowers are usually red. This variety is known as "White Anzac" (Callistemon citrinus) (discovered this just last night).
Enjoy your day.

I see another image added to the collection of Australian flora <grinning>. Thank you very much for your comments on "Ptychocarpa flower head". Robert (trisbert) put it well when he said that these are among the more showy of the Eucalypts. They are sometimes referred to as being part of the species "Corymbia", a newly recognised genus, albeit related to the Eucalypts.
Enjoy your day
Lauren, Thank you for your comments on "Juniper". I will see if I can get any different results from another picture. I use a Mavica 10x optical zoom. Just it and a lot of luck! Thanks again!
thanks for the comment on "Ultraviolet Spring" I don't know why the thumbnail shows the original unedited photo (it does that on my computer, too.) Do you see the pink flowers on a black background or a colored one? I need to know which one to post :)
Hi Lauren.. thanks for your comment on Indian Spirit... im very glad you like it.... to see the original go to page 5 of my gallery... there is "Big Chief" that is the flame unedited.. the same flame is the indians head dress.. just a different colour.... :D enjoy
hi again.. im glad you liked the original feathered platform... keep your eyes open for Radjehuty's image.. he has asked permission to work on it.. so who knows what it will look like... :D

THAT'S right. one of my friends told me when I took the picture, but I couldn't remember it. Thanks for the comment :) (Yeah, "Rouge" is kind of bright. Very sunny out that day. ::I go to school at Arizona State:: And, I don't use photoshop or any computer thing like that ::because I don't have it on my computer and I don't know how to use it haha::)
Lauren;
I am so happy that you enjoy the red rocks of canyons. This canyon is ful of beauty.Thank you for visiting my Colorado National Monument. I am happy to read that you enjoyed your visit

Thank you Lauren for the nice comments on my Bumble Bee Blossom 3 photo. It's hard to get these little guys to stay still long enough to lock in the focus. I'm glad that you liked it.

Thanks so much for the nice comment on Spring Glory. Much appreciated.
I really don'r know what it is. The plant belongs to a neighbor of mine, I asked about it, when I asked her if I could take the picture. She didn't remrember what it was, either..
Hi, Lauren. Thanks for your comments on "Psychosis." Will upload the unframed version tomorrow, as I agree that the frame does change the "tone" of the piece. I really appreciate your feedback!

Thank you so very much for your very kind words about my; Incoming Blizzard. Your comments mean a lot to me. I do not believe in C-Indexes or other numbering systems for grading my work. It is the comments, such as yours that give me my grade. I will give some thought to your suggestion about an image titled What a difference a month makes.

Thanks for your comment on Another Storm Passing. I'm adding more images when I have time, problem is that I've been spending way too much time on this site looking at all of the awesome images.
