Hi, thanks for commenting on "Blue Wave", I'm glad you liked it! As to overexposure - you are right, the light was a bit tricky... but I'm learning to do better... So, thanks again for your comment and critique, I really appreciate it!

Stelios, thanks for your comments on Misty Geese. No, the entire picture isn't upside down! The geese were swimming in front of a stand of trees which were reflecting in the water of the pond. The mist surrounding the geese kept them isolated from the reflections. By putting the geese at the very top of the frame, I got the geese and the mist but only the reflections of the trees are upside down.

Hoi Stelios,

Thanks for the compliments on "Carriage Driving Horse Show". Although it was a sunny day in september the sky indeed looks a bit pale on all the photos that day. Your comments are very much appreciated. Gr. Eric

Thanks for the comment on my "Death Valley Sunset with Moon." If you look more closely, you'll see that it's under the "Photography->Manipulation" subsection, so it can't be 100% real :P I'm glad you like it at any rate.

I'm glad that you took the time to view and comment on my Mountain Stream Beauty image. Thank you Stelios for the nice comments. I appreciate your support. I would have gone farther up stream but the large rock out cropping on the left stopped me.

Thanks Stelios or viewing and commenting on my On Golden Pond 5 photo. The fish was the hardest part of this image to manipulate. It took a while to get it to look like it was under water. The trees and leaf reflection was given a wind ripple along with the ring ripple. This was a series of progression in learning to use layers and filters. A later evolution had what appeared to be a dead cat floating in the water with a fish pecking at it.

Hi, You asked about the lens on Damsel Fair and I have to say it is a zoom lens on the Kodak DX6490, a great point and shoot camera. Yes, the picture was cropped, but not much. I have a new Rebel that I am playing with, but like to take the Kodak along wherever I go. Thanks for the question.

Thank you Stelios for your comments on my Ullapool Medley. Yes, I agree, I too live close to the sea and ships and love those scenes. Like Greece, I also have some mountains nearby too - so we have the best of both worlds. I have experienced your world a few times - I hope you can experience mine one day!

Hi,
Thanks for your comments on basil and some rain! The problem I had with this one was that I shot it in portrait mode, so had to chop off quite a bit to resize with good composition. I will certainly bear what you said in mind. I appreciate the quality degenerated in getting a reasonably sized photo to post. I loved the sweeping lines however so posted it anyway!
Thanks again

Hi Stelios,

I'm delighted that you came by to see "fishing on the river". The ripples were made by the motorboat that has just passed by the boat. Narew river is most popular among anglers, who spend long hours playing with a rod, line and hook. Sometimes the river rewards their efforts with a nice big pike or catfish.
