Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill

Hi Russ. Thank you for adding me as a friend! I really appreciate it.

In response to your question, most of the images in my gallery are fractals I've created with a free program called 'Tierazon'. Each fractal starts out with a formula (which I make up at random), then I apply filters and 'explore' the fractal by zooming in until I find an interesting image. It basically involves trial and error, and a LOT of patience - I probably discard a hundred images for each one I keep.

Regards,
Chris

Hi Russ. Thanks for your interesting comment on Alien Galaxy. Much appreciated! Now that I think about it, the fractal does look quite biological: almost like chromosomes. It's interesting the different things people see in fractals.
