Hi. Thanks for the nice compliment on "Frosty Dawn." I put that picture in the "manipulation" catagory because I artificially enlarged the moon and enhanced the frost effect using a software program. So it's part photo, part imagination. But I liked the effect and I"m glad you did too. All of my other photos are completely unretouched. That is rather unusual now days. Most photos you see have had at least minor adjustments made to color, saturation, gama, contrast, etc. Steve

Thank you for the nice compliment on the photo of Gnat Creek in Oregon, USA. The creek is located near the west coast town of Astoria where the Columbia River empties into the Pacific Ocean. This little creek is about 20 miles up river and drains directly into the Columbia. The environment here is almost "rain-forest," and there are small streams and run-offs almost everywhere one looks. It truly is a beautiful place, and I'm lucky to live here and to be able to share it. I'm glad you enjoyed the picture, and thank you for letting me know. Steve
