THanks for commenting on my picture of the Columbia River. A photo just doesn't do justice of the area. It is much much more beautiful than my picture.
Hey kate thanks so vey much for your comment on "soft seeds" so glad to hear that you enjoyed it, and the second in the series is now uploaded. thanks again, i really appreciate you taking the time to comment! ~abby
Thanks for Autumn Frost Kate.......had to get my knees wet for this'in!......And I nearly got the chilblains too?.............Nice of you to call......
Hey Again Kate......thanks for Sky-Line.....Spirit-Level eh! yeah, you are so right...most of my earlier images were atrocious with sloping waters etc......after a few 'helpful' comments from all on here...the first thing I do now, is make sure they are level before posting?
Kate: Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Tiny Bird." I have to admit that the shot had a large component of LUCK, but I'll take credit nonetheless. It helps make up for those thousands of shots in which the bird flew away just before I pushed the shutter release!
I know I can never match your talents with photography, but I had fun with Autumn Checked Out - the thorn/teardrop just appeared . . . which is what keeps this experimenting interesting! :-)
Hello Kate, thanks for visiting 'A Sea of Blue' I really appreciated your comments as they match how I felt about the scene. A mysterious magical place neede to retain the moody misty feel in the image. And yes you're correct, they are Beech trees; they were slightly later unfurling their leaves this spring so that luminous quality coincided perfectly with the peak flowering of the Bluebells - perfect timing!
Cheers,
Steve..

Thanks for your lovely comments about my new image. I have to tell you, that picture was made at 1:15 pm. We do not have better skies this days. And most of our trees are naked too, but there, in the middle of the old city, the wind has no real chance, to come through all the old houses.
Howdy. Just a short message to thank you for all your recent comments on my pics. It really is much appreciated. I'm 10 times more creative since joining Caedes and receiving all the encouragement from yourself and others. I've been really busy at work lately and that's my excuse for not answering all your comments as they come, sorry. Keep up the good work and...stay COOL :o)
I am very glad you enjoyed ~Rocky Shore~ Kate......Full of trout..sea-trout...salmon..and grayling! (Kind of trout).....thank you for those lovely comments.......Bob
Kate say:
I like it! And the photograph, which is well exposed and composed! I'd rather have sculptures like this than the windfarms planned for my island!
PS Reindeer totems??
@ Kate
Hoi, Kate!
Thank you for this comment above!. I agree with you, I even don;t like
windfarms!
Reindeer totems?? ...could be!..LOL
John

Hey Kate, Thank you for your nice comment on Mirror Art.
No I did not flash, it was a cloudy (dark storm weather) morning where sometimes between the clouds a ray of light brake through :) It was waiting for the right time to take the picture
Kate - thanks for saying Simplicity is a progression . . . not sure in which direction though! I'll remember you when I win the lottery and send you any piece of Lalique of your choice :-)
Hi Kate, thanks for your nice words on Golden Goodnight. I enjoy the sight of the Phormium without having to look after it as it is in my neighbours garden across the road. :) I have posted a bit of information about it under the picture if you are interested - a bit of a cure-all in Maori Medicine :)
Kind of you to stop by ~Wreck & Ruin~ Kate....
It was a large yachting yard, the guy had...and this (me) is the only wreck you can see now!.......thanks Bob

Kate - I really appreciate your lovely comments on Night Dreams - with double the pleasure if your husband liked it . . . after all he had the good taste to choose you!!! :-)
Hello Kate, Well how can i reply to such praise, i am very flattered. It certainly is NOT annoying and i could get a big head if i,m not careful. To be honest Kate, i was not really thinking of anything special, the thing just sort of morphed (is that a word ?) its self. Thanks again, take care and call again, Steve.
Kate thanks a lot for letting me know bits do get cropped off . . . it's had me wondering! I really appreciate your time to comment on Bubbly Bubbles . . . I was feeling a bit of a softy when I did it . . . but might occasionally get a bit bolder! :-)
Thanks very much for your comments on Just . . . Ouch! - really appreciate them, but have to laugh at you suggesting B&W when I've gone so far out of my usual soft mode! :-)
Hi Kate, Thanks for your comments on " Rusty texture" I totally agree with you thoughts on it. I will be returning to the factory to shoot from every angle & distance soon. Regards, John...

I thank you most sincerely for those lovely comments to '~Prebends Bridge'~...

Hi Kate, thanks for your kind comments about Silbury Hill. I'm pleased you think it worked ok! I watched Coast yesterday which visited the Western Isles/Outer Hebrides. Is this where you are from? If so I'm extremely jealous - it's a beautiful part of the world and somewhere I've never been to but intend to redress that soon. You have your fair share of interesting archaeology too...
Cheers,
Steve.

This was in front of the store of Gucci. They have so much money, I bet they have somebody, who is doing nothing else, than polishing those balls. Smile. Thanks for your nice comment about "Me."
Hi Kate...sorry I've not been on top of your recent posts. At the moment, I am involved in other projects that will take me away from Caedes for a while. I've just had a chance to catch up with your work...top class, as usual. I love the 'Twenty Years Ago' bathing bird...so cute. You are creating a very unique and talented collection of images. I will look in from time to time...but meanwhile, I send very best wishes for Xmas and every success for the New Year....Take care...Jacquie.
Hi Kate thanks for commenting on My Sky and Sea - glad you liked the view :) The Kodak LS420 is a point and shoot 3 MP camera - no settings, so unable to alter exposure aperture etc. Just the luck of the draw how it turns out
Thank you for ~Watch the Birdie~ Kate.....I dont need a big long lens....the camera I use has a fixed 12X optical zoom on it! and if I need to extend it..I have a times 2 and 4 filter for it!..............Thanks for your kind visit!
