Tracy,
Thks for stopping by and visiting Ole Blue Eyes. She is one of seven lovely kitties that I am owned by. Aren’t her eyes beautiful? Too bad cats do not do well on this site. I have seen some pretty cool pics of some. Anyway, thks for commenting. I appreciate it.

Hi Tracy. I appreciate your taking the time to comment on my "Working Together as One" image. I don't get a lot of feedback on the b&w's, so when I do it really stands out. Thanks, and yes - aftre the destruction that I see each and every day this moment of beauty was quite resonant.

By the way, most of New Orleans is still empty and crumbling, since we don't have money to repair the water and sewage lines which cracked during the flood. In some 80% of the city the empty houses are collapsing now after a year of neglect. The neighborhoods are abandoned, and criminals have free rein to wander at will. With a homicide rate of 10 or 20 per week most of us are armed now. In order to get my photos I have to go into pretty barren parts of town, so safety really becomes an issue. Keep us in your heart.

Tracy, Thank you for your comments on the NY Pre 911 Image. I'm grateful Russ shared that shot with the club members so I could share it with you all. I went to Ground Zero against my will last year when my husband and I were there briefly after a cruise (New England and Canada in October.) I was deeply and unexpectedly touched. I agree with you, I hope we never forget the power of that day. It changed us all forever. anne

Hello Tracy! Thanks for the nice comments on my Fall State Fair 3. This image was manipulated a little bit. The Zipper didn't have lights on one end so I had to merge parts of several photos to fill in the circle. That family walked into the photo and stood there long enough to become part of this image. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. They are normal slow rides. Just a 6 second exposure.

Hi Tracy, Thanks for the comment on "Sea of Hope". I lost my sister a few years back. She didn't catch the breast cancer in the early stages and fought it for seven years. Researchers have made a lot of progress in the last couple of years, but there is still a long way to go to find a cure. Fund raising events like "Race for a Cure" are very important and a great way to bring the local community together for a common cause.

Hi Zippee,
Yes I served in the Air Force for 12 years. Was going to make a career of it but it didn't work out that way. I served from 1974-1986. I think the Viet Nam war ended in 74 or 75 or something like that so that qualifies me as a veteran. Even so, I take my hat off to the men and women that actually had to go over there. They are the real heroes. Thks for commenting.

Thanks Tracy. My 07 Perry Fair image was taken shortly after sunset when the sky still had some light. I appreciate your support and nice comments on it.

Thanks Tracy for stopping by to view and comment on my Orbiter image. I've been waiting for a nice evening to get some creative Fair photos and Monday night turned out perfect. I'm glad you like my little creation. Again, I appreciate your support.

Hello Tracy! I've been unable to spend the amount of time on caedes like I want too and I'm way behind on my comments. Thank you for your recent comments on images in my Gallery. I appreciate your support. Although I haven't had the time to comment on your images, I have viewed, enjoyed and received inspiration from them. Thanks for sharing them with us.
