1st place
purmusic: Well.. you've done it again, Jaap.
In providing us with yet one more 'other worldly' image (<-- that's a very good good thing :o) ).
This is quite beautiful, given what could be the rather mundane subject matter.
To some, that is... 'ehhh.. it's a bunch of trains, what can someone make of that in a photo?'
A lot.. as you've proven here with this mesmerizing image.
Strong on the note of composition.. as well as, the other technical notes.
Excellent.
And but, of course.. thank you (once again) for sharing your work behind the lens. It is.. appreciated. :o)

2nd place twinkel: Whoaaa...wonderful entry for the contest.
mirto56: A talented entry for the Vanishing Point contest, Russell. I particularly like the light bouncing off of the I-beam stanchions and disappearing down through the station. Good luck!

3rd place
corngrowth: ---bottles of sparkling wine---
If the wine is not older than two years, it can be the Prosecco wine (mthode traditionnelle), Doug.
Taken just in time (before the complimentary tasting, lol) so that you could provide us an excellent entry for the contest.
Good Luck with it my friend.
4th place icedancer: That must have been a wonderful experience to see it before it was opened, outstanding depth and detail, fabulous entry and I voted for this a little while ago today
Jimbobedsel: A serious contender, I would say. Excellent photography, Els.
5th place picardroe: A nice shot of the motel hallway, Well done Wendell.
jerseygurl: Your time stuck at the hotel did payoff in the form of a really cool image - vanishing lines in the hallway. I see many lines in this shot. Really like the lighting and the ambient effect. Excellent shot Wendell - great entry for the contest!!!
