In providing us with yet one more 'other worldly' image (<-- that's a very good good thing :o) ).


This is quite beautiful, given what could be the rather mundane subject matter.

To some, that is... 'ehhh.. it's a bunch of trains, what can someone make of that in a photo?'

A lot.. as you've proven here with this mesmerizing image.


Strong on the note of composition.. as well as, the other technical notes.

Excellent.


And but, of course.. thank you (once again) for sharing your work behind the lens. It is.. appreciated. :o)

twinkel: Whoaaa...wonderful entry for the contest.

Tootles: This one is striking... I like the way the structured darkness pushes across most of the composition, leaving a strip of light at the edge where all the information and life and activity is. Looking at it, you think of the train coming past and vanishing into darkness... really suits the theme of this contest. Here's hoping you do well!

corngrowth: Els, this is not only an excellent capture, but this would be excellent entry for the 'Vanishing Point' contest as well (If you will be in time to post it).
Thanks for showing us this brand new tunnel in its stage. I even didn't see the tunnel (one of its tubes) depicted in the local newspapers. In Dutch we say: 'Je hebt een primeur!' (lol)
