Jimbobedsel: Fantastic shot! I love your POV for this, and the way the lights look like shining stars.

2nd place bfrank: Congratulations on your second place win Russel. I figured this would do well.
twinkel: Whoaaa...wonderful entry for the contest.
LynEve: Very well done and well deserving of its placement. Congratulations !
Tootles: This one is striking... I like the way the structured darkness pushes across most of the composition, leaving a strip of light at the edge where all the information and life and activity is. Looking at it, you think of the train coming past and vanishing into darkness... really suits the theme of this contest. Here's hoping you do well!

3rd place tigger3: Now this is certainly different, and I think it could do very well in the contest.I like the lighting in this, very good. I know I could get tipsy there, doesn't take much for me. :) tigs =^..^=
garrettparkinson: I never would have guessed. Great capture. Great use of the lighting.
4th place susanlynn: Super image and great entry for the Vanishing contest.
Nikoneer: The perspective on this is perfect and I really like the hard lines and the right-offset curve pulling us in and out to the right. Unfortunately it's too soft of focus in the enlargement to actually make use of it as wallpaper. It's interesting that the thumbnail is sharp but the enlargement isn't... I had to toss one of my recent submissions because something at the site mucked up the focus on what originally was a good photo. Perhaps that's what happened here?
