2nd place icedancer: Congratulations on 2nd place my dear friend
LynEve: Well done Nik - delighted (but not at all surprised)
Congratulations !
mirto56: Manipulation? He sounds remarkable...and he deserves a kayak of his own to go out and ponder his future. While both manips are outstanding, my vote is for this one in that graduation is just around the corner. An academic winner may yield you a win in the contest, Nik. Well done and congrats to your grandson.

3rd place Tomeast: The robins eggs round here are Blue so we believe. Fine workmanship here.
Jhihmoac: Likey, Mate! Faved...
LynEve: A most wonderful manip !
Well done
gonedigital: Even the late Paul Daniels would have been impressed with this trick Bob.
Good luck in the contest.
4th place Ramad: Nicely done! Looks very good to me.
jerseygurl: You have created your own universe Rob - so beautifully presented - Excellent!!!
Nikoneer: As a backyard astronomer, Rob, with some experience in looking closer at the night sky (as you may intuit from my avatar), I have to say this is a very nice image, and the soft nature of the manip is closer to what is seen through a telescope than what sci-fi movies have most people believing. The addition of the "Pelican"(?) constellation is a ballsy but artsy move. It looks like a pelican but there are actual "bird" constellations:
"Bird of Paradise" (Apus [latin])
"Eagle" (Aquila)
"Dove" (Columba)
"Crow" (Corvus)
"Swan" (Cygnus)
"Crane" (Grus)
"Peacock" (Pavo)
"Phoenix" (Phoenix)
and "Toucan" (Tucana).
Nice job, and good luck in the contest.
-Nik
