Nikoneer: I pulled a copy and inverted it in Photoshop. Hmmmmm... it sort of looks like the framework of a dirigible, but I don't know where you would have found one of those. It's definitely some sort on construct made of girders. No idea if they're full size or miniature, but when I inverted it I could see a kind of curved ceiling above it, made of long tiles. The arrangement of girder lines running across the top and those three coming down the left side indicate we're looking at the rounded end of this thing... boy, Caruso, you've got a dilly of a stumper, here. I'm supposing you're putting this one in the contest? Whether your original or the inverted copy I saw in Photoshop, it's not just a real mystery but it's a very cool image for a desktop. I'm always a sucker for repetition of lines... even if they appear to go nowhere. Good luck in the contest--but you won't need it ;o)

4th place Vickid: Really like the design, and material used. Totally unaware of what this is, great entry, wishing you the best of luck!
gonedigital: What is this?
Sorry Raj can't help you the photographs field of focus is very shallow and blurred in places so I can't discern precise details. Or perhaps you deliberately blurred sections yourself.
Guessing I'd say it's either a computer mouse, game control or some sort of mariners navigation unit.
You produce some fine work Raj (o: and hope you aren't offended by my valid critique.
This is Phlossys sixth comment folks and please don't stone me for being honest, thank you.
5th place Starglow: Could be a stack of coins.
Samatar: Part of a lighthouse??
rvdb: Congrats on your win.

Nikoneer: I'm with Thad... a stack of disks... the curves lines and the two vertical lines near the center are the giveaway (the holes in the center). A great idea (if we're right) and image (even if we're not), one just right for my desktop, thanks.
