1st place 0930_23: Congrats on winning the contest Owd Timer. It was a great entry.
Vickid: Love Nik's comments...this is an excellent angle for this capture, best of luck in the contest Bob.
Nikoneer: It looks like a giant, snow-speckled gryphon, eating the rocks on the shore (must be a tough old bird), and I saw it (my angle is from sitting on his right shoulder) before I read any of the other comments.

3rd place Dunstickin: That water looks a bit torrential...Please take care not to get too near the bankside!...But this makes for a great picture
corngrowth: Congrats Vicki, for your third place in the Characters in Nature contest.
Very well done!
4th place
Nikoneer: Works for me. The yellow on these blossoms could also be stars with thin arms. Such great definition makes them look as though they were painted. Wow.

tigger3: Such a colorful bloom! I think it's marvelous! tigs=^..^=
5th place 0930_23: Congrats on placing in the contest Solly. Good find and foto.
Nikoneer: It's THAT tree! The one the ubiquitous hugger is always looking for in jokes and bad movies!

mesmerized: Well you brought me a chuckle today too, Solly, lol...a great find and certainly qualifies for Manic Monday.
