Reaching a height of 971 metres above sea level, the Lindis Pass links the MacKenzie Basin with Central Otago,in New Zealand's South Island. The road is 63 km through the tussock terrain. Winter snow will cover the area and give a different view from this velvety golden brown scene. Taken late afternoon with Canon 450D, as we drove the long road home.
