Sometimes when life gets busy we forget that taking a day off and 'getting away from it all' is a good idea. That is what we did today. This was taken two and a half hours after we left home this morning. Still plenty of snow on the Mountains, and a very warm 23C. Nine hours later we arrived home, tired but refreshed and ready to face another week :)
The Lake is Lake Pukaki and we are heading towards Aoraki Mount Cook.
