Crime & Punishment was this year's theme for our Victorian Heritage Celebrations. There was a great disturbance during the Parade when it was realized the Mayoral Chains had been stolen! A chase ensued and the culprit was finally captured and placed in the stocks. It was only then it was realized the 'culprit' was our actual Mayor! No wonder he looks glum. The Victorian Policeman (Peeler) is also a real life and well known police constable in our town.
