Took this photo at the Corpous Christy Aquarium. Lionfish are venomous marine fish of the genus Pterois, recognized for their striking red, white, and black zebra-like bands and flowing, fan-like fins. While beautiful, they are a major ecological concern due to their status as a highly aggressive and successful invasive species in the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Mediterranean.
