This is one of two cypress luggers that the Historical Foundation was supposed to rescue and restore. One was taken out of the water six years ago and rests at a plantation in Destrehan, Louisiana. However, this little beauty now has seagrass and water hyacinths growing on its deck and I am afraid it will soon become part of the sea. There is a great history to it but no one seems to care. I have not posted in over a month so excuse me for not commenting on your photos. I was hospitalized for a week, then recuperating. Stay away from doctors, they'll kill you.
