The Sint Maartens Church has been built around 1440 and has been restored in 1964. The current church bldg. dates according to unearthings in first construction from the eighth century. In 1441 here already tuff tower must be built, those in 1514 were just completed. One had there therefore 73 years concerning done. church bldg. and tower were shot in 1944, - 1945 from Wamel by the allies. From 1957 up to 1964 one has been busy with the restoration. The tower has been held with tuff and has been built in late gothic style. The chime was stolen in the war by the germans, but nevertheless arrived after much investigation. The carillon includes 48 source clocks, that together approximately fourteen barrels ways. The photograph does not seem right taken, but the tower is crooked.
