Another one of my captures from the Field Museum in Chicago of a female slave sculpture. What drew me to the piece was the angle of the arm with the modern, plaster stair railing in the background (dark diagonal). The posture of the piece to me was more intriguing than the facial features (sculptor seemed to struggle with the facial features) so the focus is definitely on the posture. The lighting was brilliant which I tried to capture in the image.
