I found these tiny houses, built on the top of an inland dike, somewhere (far south) on the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, the Netherlands. I think that I better can speak of 'somewhere in the middle of nowhere', lol. While capturing, I met an old man there, and had a brief but friendly talk with him. I was curious how he experiences life here and how long he already lived here. His answer was polite but brief: "I was born here and didn't move because life here is good." Think to see by the scene that I have to take his few words for granted.
Hope you'll like this image. Thanks in advance for your comment.
PS: Dike or dyke is derived from the dutch word 'dijk'. I like to give people, who don't know where dike or dyke stands for, the advice to check-out THIS LINK to know more about it.
