This afternoon I was in the town of Goes, Zeeland, the Netherlands and have captured 'some' images. This is one of them.
Depicted is the 'Large Church' called 'Mary Magdalene Church' too. The construction of the church started in 1423. On September 11th, 1618 the church was seriously damaged by fire. The reconstruction started the same year and was completed in 1621. The church has in its intersection a carillon with 47 bells, the heaviest weighing 965 kg. It's still playing nowadays and causes a cosy atmosphere in the surrounding streets and on the Market Place of Goes.
Hope you'll like this image. Thanks in advance for your comment.
