The 'De Havilland' DH-82a Tiger Moth G-AJHS was built in 1939 at Hatfield (England). The aircraft was taken on charge by the RAF (Royal Air Force) on June 6th, 1939. It was first issued to one of the airwork schools on October 6th, 1939. After WWII it was returned to store for pending disposal. A flying school however bought the Tiger on February 12th, 1947 and it was speedily overhauled and civilianised. On June 30th, 1953 the G-AJHS was registered to the Royal Aircraft Establishment Aero Club at Farnborough and it remained active until July 1963. It was brought back into commission in March 1971. On February 29th, 1984 the the Machine Music Ltd, alias pop star Gary Numan, obtained the ownership. In March 1991 the aircraft was bought by a Dutch flying group, named 'Flying Wires'.

The G-AJHS and two other Tiger Moths, the PH-VMS and G-ADGV, participates in airshows on solo basis, and in a two or three ship formation.
