This image was taken recently. It shows a part of the Lake of Veere with its adjacent ancient small town Veere.

The building on its left border is the 'Campveerse Toren', built between 1358 and 1390 as part of Veere's fortification. The tower had in that time also a town tavern and a lighthouse function. Nowadays it is a hotel and restaurant where famous guests have spent and still spend some time.
