When I passed by this rowing boat, the skipper apparently had lost his way because he asked me the way for his destination, ☺ .

I'm just kidding of course, because this 'old salt' perfectly knows what he's doing. Else it would have been a manic situation. In fact he greeted me, a common use in the maritime world when someone's sailing by.

He and his crew members (maritime pilots in civilian wear, except the skipper) are performing a playful row action because of a maritime event.
