Zierikzee, a medieval town at the island Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands is very popular with mainly Belgian and German (water sports) tourists because it offers a range of possibilities: shopping, sightseeing, and excellent food in the many (seafood) restaurants. The local government is doing everything to give the town a colorful appearance as well by placing flower boxes everywhere in the streets.
