Depicted is the Maastricht City Hall. Maastricht is the capital and largest city of the province of Limburg, The Netherlands.
The construction of this Maastricht City Hall was started in 1659. Although its steeple wasn't ready yet, it was opened in 1664 and used by the city counsel. The construction (inclusive the steeple) was finished in 1684.
