The little medieval town of Veere, in Zeeland, The Netherlands, is surrounded by ramparts and moats, meant as fortification in the medieval time. When one's outside these ramparts one can hardly see Veere. No problem because the ramparts are covered with hawthorn shrubs that are blooming in the month of May. To me a pleasant sight and worth to be captured.
