Depicted is the Montelbaan-tower, situated in downtown Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on bank of the Oudeschans (one of the many canals in Amsterdam). The tower was built in 1516 and is still in a good shape.

Because of this previous contribution you might have thought that the tower was to a certain extent obsolete, but that was an optical illusion created by artists participating in the light festival then (😁).
