The next information is derived from THIS SITE: this artwork, called 'Rooted Together' is created by the artists of the ASML and students from Summa.

The steel construction holds no less than 500 meters of LED tubes in its roots and trunk, which are connected to leaves that are shaped by 800 LED bulbs. The moving lights visualize the upward streams of water, nutrients and energy, making the tree branch out and reach greater heights. Rooted Together pays homage to the cradle of innovation that the Brainport region has become. While ASML, founded in 1984 as a spin-off of Philips is deeply rooted in Brainport, it has developed a strong bonding with the ecosystem, shaping each other's growth over the years. Key to the success of the region is collaboration, and this is the essence of the artwork.

PS: normally a longer exposure time will be chosen for a night-shot. Because of the dynamic character of the subject matter, this wasn't an option. The only option to achieve an acceptable image was to increase the ISO-value with the inevitable result of a higher noise. Hope however that this image is acceptable to you as well.
