Apparently the artist Stefan Thelen (aka 'Super A') was inspired by the B&W challenge ( 😁 , just kidding) when he recently painted this B&W-mural on a side wall of a building in Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

The Dutch harbor town Flushing is well known for his maritime character (maritime history as well) as it had and still has all kinds of maritime aspects: merchant shipping, fishery, (national and international) ferries, yachting, ship yards for merchant-navy/yachts/naval ships, and Royal Dutch Navy facilities as well. Referring to the latter: the Dutch admiral Michiel de Ruyter was born in Flushing.

This mural is a tribute to the fishery in Flushing of days gone by (at the end of the 19th century, and beginning of the 20th century) however.

To me it's, to a certain extent, a touching mural as my late grandfather (from father's side), born in 1899, was a fisherman who sailed on a fishing boat like one of the ones depicted on the mural!
