On the colonial forces side of the bridge over the Concord River is Daniel Chester French's first important statue: The Minute Man. This image also adorns the reverse of the 2000 US Quarter Dollar. French later sculpted the "Seated Lincoln" for the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.
