....returning from my lunch on Alderley Edge I stopped at Nether Alderley Mill to take this photograph - this is a 16th century water mill which has been restored to full working order. It is now owned by the National Trust and visitors can watch the mill grinding corn into flour. To the rear of the mill is a mill pond which provides the water to power the mill.- the mill is built against a damn which holds the water. So much history and just on the doorstep. :)
