....and aren't you jealous!! lol! and hasn't life changed a lot in the last 100 years!! Life was simple and I can imagine it was quite hard work doing the washing in those days, but I bet they didn't have half as much washing to do as we do today! OK! it isn't mine! I own up!! lol! :) This laundry room is situated in an outbuilding behind the Apprentice house at Quarry Bank Mill in Styal Cheshire. Now if I was to live 100 years ago I think I would make a stand and get the men to do the washing! ...and I would work in the fields! (shame they didn't have tractors) :) oh yes - and they would have my dinner on the table when I came in! :):)
