...yes the name is correct! I laughed when I saw it, as it is only two stories and twenty feet high. It is a Victorian folly, said to have been built by Solomon Mycock in the 1890's and was paid for by public subscription to provide work for the locally unemployed! ...Well maybe it was not such a bad idea! Although I had to climb a hill to see it (it is 1440 feet above sea level, puff pant!), you can walk inside to the top and views of the Derbyshire countryside can be seen in all directions.
