..........Manchester's Beetham Tower, tallest building outside London - standing at 169 metres high ..the top part of the building from where it juts out is apartments and below that there are businesses and the Hilton Hotel! An amazing fete of engineering - looks like it might topple over at any moment! The designer occupies the very top apartment with a roof garden and panoramic views over the city, so he must have confidence in its construction - I think I will keep my feet firmly on the ground - a little cottage in the country is more my style! lol!
